A few months ago, Victor Pozzi, the artist for Westwood, The Captive, and Naira,
contacted me about showcasing some of his original character designs at
Champion City Comics, and I thought it was a great idea. This week we are featuring Urraca. Urraca is a Spanish term for magpie, one of the most intelligent animals, plus it is the name given to a chieftain that fought the Spanish conquistadors. I really like this character design by Victor, and I see him fighting some villains that are derived from Aztec and Inca mythology.
