The Ghostly Coast of Annalise: a chronicle from the town of Town. A chronicle that has direct influence on present day Town, and the current deadly chapter known as The Vegetable Wars.
Words: Peter W. Caton
Art: Greg Hiatt
The wars are upon. Death. Destruction. Decay of the spirit. Mutiny of the soul. Yes, all around us, are blood soaked streets. Violence. Cries for help. Cries for mercy. Bodies stacked one on top of the other. Utter madness. As the vegetable hordes wreak havoc across the streets of Town, one cannot help but wonder where it all began. Where it all comes from? Such evil deeds. Such evil ways. The Vegetable Wars are wrought with pain and sorrow. So many people looking for answers. For reasons why such atrocity exists in this world of ours. I, my friend, am no different. I search too. I want to uncover the truth. Any truth that would help explain the mayhem that currently plagues our beloved Town.
So today my friends, we start to unravel the madness. To discover some of the answers. Of how? Of why? Mad Scientist and his evil came into the world we know.
My name is John Narrator and I am the resident narrator in Town. And I shall lead you on a journey of discovery. Of mystery. Of comedy, and yes, of destiny. A journey that will weave many stories together, to help show how madness came into Town.
The story of Mad Scientist’s birth is a mazy run through the history of Town. Both major and minor. For much of Town’s history, its curiosities and events are intrinsically tied to the birth of this man. Of his evil. And his destiny to create the vegetable army.
So today we impart on a journey from our history. From the history of Town. From a tale long ago. A tale called The Ghostly Coast of Annalise. The story will not be completed here. Today, you shall receive only a taste. The full story of Annalise will be revealed in the chronicle, Origin of Madness Volume 1, available soon at The Vegetable Wars (link to http://www.thevegetablewars.com). To stay up to date with the great histories, both past and present, be sure to become a fan of the Wars on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Vegetable-Wars/15054873618).
And now, without further ado, on to the show…
